Email settings

Here you can modify the email settings.These email settings are neccessary, because WinSurvey offers you the possibility to send the respondent an email message, after he/she has completed your survey.

On the Email settings tab there is the Email panel.

On this panel you find the Send email message to respondent check box . By checking this check box, you choose to send an email message to the respondent to thank him/her for the participation. Two editable fields are activated where you can fill in information regarding: Email subject: this is the text that appears as the subject of the email message to the respondent, for example: "thank you"
Email address field: if you wish to send an email to the respondent, it is important to know his/her email address. In a combo box you find the answers from the survey where the respondent fills in his/her email address. As it is necessary to fill in the email address, the answers from the combo box, from which you can choose, are all answers of the type:
Fill in the blanks
Essay question
Choose one and specify
Choose all and specify

Note: If you want to send a "thank you" email to the respondent, you should include in your survey at least one question of the types described above.

Using the Browse button you can choose the text for the email message to the respondent. You can only choose text files (*.txt). After you have chosen a text you can preview it in the editable text field on the right side of the page.

In this panel, type in the Survey Daemon email (by default survey@acebit.de) and the Survey Daemon name (by default Survey Daemon).
