If you wish to create a successfull survey, take into consideration a few things.
The questions of the survey should be:
Pointed
- the questions should have a meaning which the respondent is able
to see.
As short
as possible - otherwise the respondent gets bored and does not complete
the survey.
Non-ambiguous
- the questions should not be interpretable, they should only have
one meaning.
Well ordered - the questions
should be in a good and logical order.
Think of the people you are addressing. DO NOT write the questions in an insulting manner, like you were talking to a fool, for example.
Do not not waste the time of the respondent, so keep
your survey short: the respondent should be able to complete the survey
in 10 to 15 minutes, or less, if possible. Do not forget that the respondent
is doing you a favor by completing your survey, and not the other way
round.
